Brand mentions, competitor tracking, and source analysis
Track competitors across scheduled runs. Review extracted mentions, rankings, source types, and the attributes AI assigns to brands. These analysis features are included from Starter.

What changed
- Brand mentions retain answer context for review.
- Competitor tracking compares mentions, rankings, and share of voice across runs.
- Source analysis keeps returned URLs, displayed citations, and linked brand mentions distinct.
- Positioning attributes capture how AI describes brands and competitors.
Brand mentions with context
Mention extraction connects a brand name to the answer where it appears. Open a prompt result to read the surrounding text, check the provider, and see which competitors appear alongside it. A mention can be a passing reference, so inspect the wording before reporting it as a recommendation.
Competitor tracking
Track recurring competitors across completed monitor runs. Compare mentions, rankings, and share of voice on the same questions and providers. Generated analysis also extracts positioning attributes and qualifying phrases. These dimensions can describe audience, use case, price, or product qualities. Sources shows available phrases and excerpts under Competitor language to watch.
Attributes describe what the answers say. Check their wording against the product before treating them as facts. An answer with little detail may have no useful attributes to extract.
Sources you can inspect
Review recurring domains, individual URLs, source categories, and provider context. Displayed citations, returned source URLs, and links attached to brand mentions represent different records. A returned URL alone does not establish whether the provider cited the page or used it to form a recommendation.
Included from Starter
Pricing now names brand mention extraction, competitor tracking, source analysis, and positioning attributes explicitly. These capabilities are included from Starter, with monitoring frequency and coverage set by the plan. Growth and higher add Opportunities and Content Briefs.
The updated product pages explain each capability. The core docs now use shorter instructions, numbered steps, and a simpler reading layout.
