What Content does
Content turns aligned PromptScout evidence into one saved page brief. It is for deciding which page to build or improve next, not for generating generic copy.
What needs to exist first
Content briefs are available from Starter when the evidence is ready. A brief needs:
- An active monitor with recent prompt results
- Generated Insights
- A successful full-site Website audit
- A confident match between the Website gap and the insight opportunity
- Brief generation configured for the current environment
If those inputs do not line up, PromptScout shows the missing prerequisite instead of creating a weak brief.
What's on the page
- The recommended page opportunity
- Prompt evidence that points to the demand
- Website evidence that shows the coverage gap
- Source or competitor-framing evidence that supports the decision
- A saved brief for the current audit and monitoring cycle when one already exists
How generation works
Generation is explicit. Opening Content is a read-only action; PromptScout only calls the brief generator when you select Generate brief.
For the same brand, Website scan, and insight batch, PromptScout saves one brief. Reloading the page reopens that saved brief instead of creating another version.
Best practice
Use Content after you have reviewed Insights, Website, and Sources. If the evidence points to one page type, generate the brief and turn it into a real content task. If the evidence is mixed, fix the prerequisite first instead of forcing a brief.
Next steps
- Review the framing evidence in Insights.
- Confirm owned-page gaps in Website.
- Re-run Monitoring after the content change ships.
